3 valve honeywell system
      #676125 - 10/16/07 05:22 PM

I replaced a valve on my heater. After wiring it back together I noticed that my downstairs zone also runs my upstairs zone. I went back and checked the wiring. It looks correct. Can anyone help with this?

I can probably help.

I'm presuming you're using the Honeywell V8043 series of zone valves. Do you have the zone valves with the end switches, and if so, are you using the end switches to do anything? Do you have a single circulating pump, or a separate circ pump for each zone?

That is, can you please describe your heating system to me and how it's supposed to work?

Are you unsure of how it's supposed to work?

Thanks for your response nestor. I retraced the wiring and foumd I had an error. I also drained the system to get out any air bubbles. The system is a hot water baseboard with honeywell V8043 as the valves.
