Hi,
We purchased this dishwasher when our house was built about 10 years ago. Only used it for 2 or so years when we found out it was slowing leaking and just quit using it all together and just recently decided to figure out what was wrong with it so we can start using it again and stop washing dishes by hand!
Called a few places which were no help at all really, just basically said to buy a new dishwasher. I really hate to do this as the appliances will not match then, and as of right now all have these digital features.
Below I put a link to pictures that show where it is leaking, I'm guessing some kind of seal needs to be replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
Nice pics!
Model# of the d/w is ?
The pics show where the water is dripping off of but not where it may be comming from. Yes it can be bad seals inside the motor and pump assembly = a leak where the plastic body and metal motor meet one another. The pump connector above the motor and pump assembly can develope a pin hole and leak, the water drips off of the motor as well. If the water is coming from the motor and pump assembly next is to see if seals only are required ( motor shaft not rusted ) or is the whole motor and pump assembly needs to be replaced ( motor shaft is rusted ).
Something that may help... Link is here

Hi,
The model number of the dishwasher is GSD4920X66BB. As soon as we started it, water quickly started dripping, what you see is about 15-30 seconds time. We quickly shut it off then.

So you are basically saying it is one of the things you posted that is more than likely making it leak, correct? How hard are those parts to change out for someone who has no experience when it comes to working on appliances?

Changing the motor and pump assembly complete is easier than taking it out, apart, repairing and then back in again.

Can changing out the motor and pump be done by taking the lower panel off and not moving the washer itself?

Most of the time yes. Have had a few sub floors installed up to the d/w that made taking out the motor and pump difficult and removing the whole d/w was easier.
