looking for a good weed killer -- wild onions and creeping charlie ( I think)

Oooooh, I was up to my flippin' neck with creeping charlie two springs ago; last year and so far this year I barely have any *knockwood*
This was my method:
Dig it up, trying to get as much root as possible. "Claws" work great for this.
Do NOT compost it--throw it out! If you have to wrap it in newspaper and sneak it in your can, you didn't hear that from me 
Be relentless with pulling it out as soon as you see it for the season
I tried Roundup on creeping charlie and it thanked me for the drink

Weed-B-Gone Max, or TRIMEC. Either will take care of these.

Uggh! Wild onion is as bad as creeping charlie. The more I pull, double appears. Each bulb has a pile of tiny bulbs that get left behind to seed the next onslaught.

Anything with 2,4-d in it will do the trick. This is in Weed-B-Gone.
