To replace a bad one. Lady replaced the 20W bulbs in her track lighting set up with 50W. Cooked the original xmfr. Thanks for the link.Had hoped to get one without sending all the way to/from China. Haven't found anything else to replace with as the mounting space is VERY limited.

Only idea I have is to take it to an electric supply house and see if they can cross it to an Advance ballast.

I'm a bit confuzzeled. (nothing new)

You say track lights? Are these the ones with the transformer in each head? If so, wouldn't it be easier to just replace all the heads? I know styles change quickly, but it may be less expensive to replace them all with newer styles, leaving the track.

I have this converter in my ceiling track light. My light has recently started to go out (all 5 halogen lights at one time) periodically. I pull one halogen light out then the other 4 typicall turn back on. After doing this a couple of times, now the lights will not turn back on at all. The halogen lights seem to all be fine, do you think it is the converter? Should I replace the entire light assembly or what would you recommend replacing?
