Have been real busy and kinda forgot about it. But today I found a local plumbing supply house that has the plastic lines pipes. I think that is going to be my best choice. The issue I have is the nipples are 3" long so I have to do some extra piping to use something this long. The copper nipple is exactly the right size in length. But thanks for asking. I'll post when done.

Ok did it last night with a union device. Supply house only had 3/4" so they hooked me up with a 1/2" union. And of course at 9pm I couldn't find a longer nipple!!! So I serched high and low and found one. So by 11pm I was done with no leaks.

Sodered all the angles first, then the union. The top into the mixing valve was the [censored]. Started dripping so I did the bread trick but the inside of the valve was small so the bread had to be forced into the little hole. Then to soder upside down URG!!!! But the pipe slid in and the soder took.

One of my "favorite" scars is on my left hand. Goes from about mid-way down the top of my index finger almost to my wrist...

Guess from what?
