also do not egg a house or car. it really causes damage. pick a prank that is hilarious, but leaves no damage or a long term problem. at any rate, nothing is going to work that fast to kill the grass. think of something else.

come on posters there must be some things you guys did you can recommend that won't caus permanent damage, get his rear tanned or cost his parents money in the long run.

Ok Cowboy, I've gotta agree with the rest of the folks on here, that's not really a prank to kill the grass, it's really more destructive, and when you become destructive you've crossed that fine line and nobodies gonna really laugh over it, they're just gonna get hurt and ticked off.

So, that said, I'll tell you a few pranks that are pretty harmless, yet fun. If your freind has a car you can fill it up to the ceiling with newspaper, just wad it up and throw it in, we did this to a freind and they couldn't even get in the front seat. We also taped newspaper across their front and back doors, so when they opened up the doors all they saw was newspaper. Of course you could tipi the yard, bushes and trees. Heck, that's alot of fun just throwing tp all over the place. You could also get some whip cream and draw faces or words in the grass

Remember, whatever you do it's gotta be humerous to both parties.

If you want to write on the lawn, and you want an immediate effect, use marking paint.

I like the "Marking Paint" idea!!! Immediate results AND no legalities.......SOMEONE has to own the property....the state???

TRUST me...you get in heaps of trouble if you ruin or cause ANY permanent altering situation on state property...which a school is! Ask my daughter.

Good point Tindlewood - but I'd be careful about "no legalities". Defacing property is also against the law - even if the clean up is relatively easy!

diesel oil would carry with it the costs of environmental remediation. Not cheap, I work for an environmental engineering company. No offence, Boat, but this is the worst idea yet. Diesel would persist for years, and depending on how deep it migrated could cost up to hundreds of thousands of dollars to clean up. And it carries definate jail time if one is caught "disposing of it improperly"
