Correct, The pics show where the water is dripping off of but not where it may be comming from. Yes it can be bad seals inside the motor and pump assembly = a leak where the plastic body and metal motor meet one another. The pump connector above the motor and pump assembly can develope a pin hole and leak, the water drips off of the motor as well. If the water is coming from the motor and pump assembly next is to see if seals only are required ( motor shaft not rusted ) or is the whole motor and pump assembly needs to be replaced ( motor shaft is rusted ).

Changing the motor and pump assembly complete is easier than taking it out, apart, repairing and then back in again.
